Tulip Cruise

Tulip Cruise is a 5-star cruise boat moored at the Tuan Chau harbour on Tuan Chau Island in Ha Long Bay, 8.1 km from the centre of Ha Long, with sea-view cabins that all have a private balcony. Each cabin has air conditioning and a private bathroom with a bath, and the range runs from a 39 m² double or twin room to a 120 m² King Suite with its own private pool.

The boat suits couples and families who want to sleep on the water. The Family Room with Sea View and the Deluxe Family Suite are built for families and larger groups, while the Executive Suite and the King Suite add a seating area and a terrace. On board there is a sun terrace, a bar, a year-round outdoor swimming pool, a fitness room, a hot tub and evening entertainment with karaoke, and the buffet breakfast is included in the stay.

The reception desk is staffed around the clock and free WiFi covers all areas of the boat, so guests arriving at different times are looked after. Each cabin also has a flat-screen TV, a minibar and a hairdryer, and the bathrooms come with free toiletries and bathrobes.

Tulip Cruise has six cabin types, all with a balcony facing the water, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a minibar. The smallest, the Deluxe Double or Twin Room with Ocean View at 39 m², has one single bed and one large king-size bed and room for up to three guests. The Triple Room with Sea View, at 45 m², uses the same bed layout and gives six more square metres for three people.

Above these, the Family Room with Sea View and the Deluxe Family Suite, both 85 m², sleep up to four and up to six guests. The Executive Suite, at 60 m², has one bedroom with an extra-large double bed, a seating area and a terrace where you can relax. The King Suite with Balcony, at 120 m², is the largest cabin and the only one with a private pool. Every cabin has a private bathroom with a bath, toiletries and a bathrobe, and sea views.

On deck, Tulip Cruise has a sun terrace with sun loungers, sun umbrellas and outdoor furniture, along with a terrace, a bar and a fitness room. The year-round outdoor swimming pool and the hot tub make the open deck a place to spend time between sightseeing trips.

Inside, every cabin has air conditioning, a private bathroom with a bath or shower, free toiletries, a bathrobe, a hairdryer, towels and slippers, and a wardrobe. The larger cabins add a seating area. The boat has a lift, a concierge service, a 24-hour front desk and 24-hour security, and it runs evening entertainment, karaoke and a cooking class.

Food and drink are covered by a buffet breakfast, a bar and the minibars in the cabins. Free WiFi is available in all areas of the boat, and meeting and banquet facilities are available for groups.

Tulip Cruise is moored at the harbour on Tuan Chau Island, so its surroundings are the harbour water and the island's shoreline rather than a street of shops. The Tuần Châu Ferry Terminal is 850 m away, and the Southern Hotel bar is 250 m. Cua Vàng restaurant is 750 m away, and Tuan Chau Beach, the nearest stretch of sand, is 1.1 km. From the sea-view cabins the view runs over the water of the bay towards its limestone islands.

The centre of Ha Long is 8.1 km from the boat, and the Bai Chay Bus Terminal lies 6.7 km away, the main point for onward bus journeys. The Vinpearl Ferry Terminal is 5.3 km away, the crossing to the Vinpearl resort island. There is no parking available at the boat, so guests who arrive by car should plan where to leave the vehicle before they reach the harbour.

For sightseeing, the bay offers caves and islets close to the harbour. Thien Cung Cave is 3.7 km away and Dau Go Cave is 3.9 km, both among the limestone formations that make Ha Long Bay known. Paradise Bay Beach, on the island's coastline, is 2.1 km away, and Cái Dăm Market, a local market in the Ha Long area, is 5.8 km. In the evenings the bar and restaurants on the harbour side are the nearest places to eat.
